About Us

The hardworking team members behind Battling Adversity Blog are all students at the University of Texas at Austin. We created this blog for our Management 337 course called Leadership and Impact.

For our Leadership Field Study project, we collaborated throughout the semester in order to research and showcase our findings in a creative way: this blog! We chose leaders who have overcome adversity and interviewed them through video call. Using our findings from the interviews, as well as secondary research through scholarly articles and studies about adversities, we came up with several tips and recommendations for dealing with adversity.
